Our service areas include Austin, Lakeway, Cedar Park, Round Rock, Pflugerville, Dripping Springs, and Buda. If you live outside of these areas we may make exceptions, just give us a shout and we can discuss it. A $25 travel fee may apply for location beyond service areas.
Our private training sessions occur with your family in your home (or we may decide on predetermined locations if required to achieve your goals). During our initial 90 minute session we will attempt to gain all relevant information on your case, observe your dog, and assess short and long term goals. If your case is simple we will start hands on training during the initial session. At the end of that first session we will determine what ongoing training might be necessary to reach your goals and suggest a package if needed based on what we have discussed; day training is an option at this point as well.
Every session after the initial session is 75 minutes and typically occurs once a week. Unlike the initial session, follow up sessions go directly into hands on training where we will coach you through working with your dog based on your individual goals. Private training is a great option for owners who are able to work consistently on their own with their dogs with some helpful coaching. We offer evening and weekend appointments.
Does your dog need more intensive training? Too busy to be consistent with training? Want to give your dog a good foundation for future training? Day training may be a great option for you. Day training is a good alternative to traditional board and train programs or longer day training options. It has been proven that dog’s learn best in short intervals instead of long intensive periods. With our day training option your dog is visited multiple times a week over a determined period of time for 2 hours a day, with a minimum of five sessions for new clients. We always start with a free short 30-45 minute consultation to perform an assessment of your dog’s behavior and your goals for training. At the end of the day training sessions we schedule a free wrap up session where you are shown what skills your dog has learned and how to maintain/continue with the training. Day Training helps your dog learn faster and more efficiently, it cuts down on the confusion when first learning a new behavior. You and your dog can benefit from a professional’s quick mechanical skills and ability to read your dog accurately, in order to effectively achieve progress and minimize stress for all involved.
